What is The Arts Society Paris?
The Arts Society Paris, formerly known as the Paris Decorative and Fine Arts Society (PADFAS), is a Franco-British society that was founded in 1994 with the aim of enhancing the appreciation and enjoyment of the arts, and helping the preservation of our artistic heritage. The Paris society, as well as many other European and Australian societies, is a member of The Arts Society U.K.
The Arts Society Paris organises a programme of illustrated lectures in English delivered by leading European speakers, all experts in their fields. Additionally, the Arts Society Paris organises
- private visits to museums or places of particular artistic interest
- special day outings in or around Paris
- a spring day trip to explore an interesting area further afield.

We are The Arts Society. We bring people together through a shared curiosity for the arts.
Our events provide welcoming places – locally, nationally and globally – to hear expert lecturers share their specialist knowledge about the arts.
Our 90,000+ members contribute to and preserve our artistic heritage through volunteering and grants.
